Okay, just ONE more!

I know, I know...most of these pictures are of Ollie...but here's one more picture of him in his outfit today. Thanks to Aunt Karla--he is dressed to impress!

Prunes and Cold Mornings

Well, Kansas is finally starting to feel like fall. This morning it was in the upper 40's! We went for a walk and I bundled Ollie up--he had a blanket on him, as well as this get-up. Cute, huh?
We also took a picture of him eating prunes. This is one of MANY foods that he likes. We actually haven't found anything that he doesn't like...except waiting to eat. (Could this be a window into the future?...you know...the dark mustache/beard...)
Finally, his newest interest is his little red wagon, "White Lightning". He like to play with that. I think he may become an engineer! (You can't tell in this picture, but he likes to move the moving parts, chew on the wheels, and look it over real hard...)

Our Week

Well- things are starting to slow down a bit around here. Ollie had his first ear infection about a week ago, and had a really bad cold before that. He had a touch of that after taking his antibiotics--but I think it's finally going away. Then, Thursday he had his 3 shots at his 6-month appointment--those affected him much more this time than they ever had! Needless to say--it feels like we have a newborn again with him waking up during the night.

But here are some pictures from the week:

Playing with a fun toy...Playing with Taylor...

Giving me a goofy face...Getting very close to the camera... (he has started lunging at our faces and trying to bite them!)

Other fun news: yesterday was mom and dad's anniversary--we had them and Courtney over for supper. It was fun. I got to ride their new motorcycle. I have to say, it is odd looking out the window, telling Ollie "Grandma and Grandpa are here! They rode their motorcycle..."...weird. But it is LOTS of fun.

Tonight Ollie's accompanying me as I go hang out with some college friends. Joel will try to find someplace that will air the Cubs game...

Time Flies

Wow--little Oliver is 6 months old today! To celebrate his half-birthday, we took his rocking chair picture (below), went for a walk, ate some cheesecake, watched some football, and played a game of darts. Take a close look at the dart board. That was my first shot--and I still beat Joel! :-)

(watching football, of course)

Cubs Win the Division!

Last night, after D. Lee hit a home run, (to put the Cubs up 4-0) Ollie decided to show his team spirit by cheering for the Cubs. It was a big game, because they clinched a spot in the playoffs. Here he is waving his Cubs rattle:

My New Talent

Guess what everybody?! I can sit! Yep. All I do is use my strong back and leg muscles, and I sit for minutes! And my new favorite game is to play with 4 little balls that roll around in a metal bowl. Thank goodness mom had the visit from the Parents As Teachers lady--that day, mom found out about this game, and the fact that I can sit on my own! (This picture doesn't do me justice--I really AM sitting!)

Ladeeth Man

Well, tonight Ollie joined us as we went out on the town. Tomorrow is Joel's birthday, so we ate out tonight in Wichita at Abuelo's. Next, we went to Home Depot (what is a trip to Wichita without a stop at a home improvement store?) and finally, we ended at Coldstone. Can you guess who picked that? :-) Here are two cute pics of the boys I love most...
