Many of you know the McClenahans, but for those of you who don't, they are some of our BEST friends. Their little girl, Cora, was diagnosed this weekend with cancer. She begins chemo Monday or Tuesday this week. They don't know much yet about how responsive it will be to the chemo--in fact, they won't know that for a week or more.
In the meantime, we wait and pray. We know God is good. We know He is in control. He loves Cora more than any of us do--even her parents.
God gives us these little ones to care for--even THEY are His. So I hug mine a little tighter and more often now. And pray.
A lot.

Amen sista. Lots of prayers going out to Cora, Jess and Joel.
What's with the babies with cancer? Seems to be a recurring theme lately. Here's a great interview with a family from our church whose testimony is about how their son was healed:
The full story from John & Liz Jacobs about the ordeal they went thru when finding out their 5 month old baby boy had leukemia when visiting the doctor. Listen to their inspiring story online. Here's the link to the Grace Church podcast feed:

Oh Kendall, my heart just breaks for them. That sweet baby will be in my prayers - continually.
