3,730 miles later, we're back in Newton! Luckily we missed most of the heat--although, at 8pm, it's still 99 degrees out. Our house was 90 degrees when we got home--hopefully it will cool off fast...
I won't post pictures until tomorrow (hopefully!) but we had a great trip. Lots of time with family--some that we hadn't seen for a while! We had a GREAT time in NYC--but, no offense to our 2 New York friends--we won't be moving there any time soon. Those subways and train schedules got a little old...
We left at 4am (central time) and arrived here just before 6pm. We took an hour to eat ice cream with Courtney in Overland Park on our way home, and of course made many bathroom stops.
All in all--it was such a great trip. We are so thankful for our family and friends that we saw--and for the opportunity to take almost 3 weeks to go travel!

Wow! That's a lot of miles. We're glad to hear you made it back safely. You missed the birth of our son -- but we knew that would probably happen. When you're organized for home (we know you have to go back to work Kendall), give us a call. You're welcome to come and see Luke. Plus, we agree with one of your statements. We too loved NYC, but we wouldn't want to live there.
YAY!!! So glad you're home....we've been missing you and waiting anxiously for your return! I just can't believe you start school now...wow! Can't wait to hear all about the trip and see lots of pics...and of course see you guys too!
Welcome home-to the heat! we're glad you had a good time. Ava is ready for Ollie...
So glad you're back! Can't wait to see pictures. Eli's been missing Ollie. Infact he was saying his name today!
