The night of the...

Tumbleweed! I looked out our window after supper and saw THIS in our back yard! You can't fully appreciate how big this thing is--it's at least as tall as Ollie. Joel says he's seen way bigger out on the fields at work...but still, I think this is pretty crazy!

I used to see those ALL OF THE TIME when I used to travel in western KS for my job. There are so many out there. It's really cool when they stick to the grill on the front of you car :) That's funny you had one in your backyard.

I heard about a family that sold them on E-Bay! Shops in New York City would use them for displays. Crazy!
